Sadie’s Wish – A Crowdfunding Campaign by her sister Evie
Hello, this is Evie. My little sister Sadie recently died from a type of cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. She was my best friend and I miss her every minute of every day.
I was thinking of ways that I could help honor her and I remembered something she said in an interview with The Truth 365.
Sadie said, “I think that when everyone comes together, that would be great because there are so many brilliant minds out there and they can make something amazing such as a cure to childhood cancer.”
Clearly it was Sadie’s vision for us to come together and support brilliant minds in order to cure childhood cancer.
This gave me the idea for a crowdfunding campaign to help make Sadie’s wish come true.
I know of some brilliant minds at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston who are working on new ways to kill Rhabdomyosarcoma cells without hurting the child. Their biggest roadblock is a lack of funding for their cutting-edge research.
I have seen millions raised through crowdfunding for all kinds of projects but none as important as one that can save the lives of innocent children.
Will you help us by donating to our campaign today? Our initial goal is $50,000 by June 15 but we would love to raise more. No amount is too small.
And if you can’t donate, please share this page with your friends.
As Sadie said, if we come together we can help the brilliant minds find a cure to childhood cancer. YOU have an important role in this campaign’s success and we appreciate your help! Thank you!
